WARRANTY POLICY

Changes to warranty conditions are all effective immediately.

Thank you for shopping at Forno Gourmet. This is a very important section, hence please read through it carefully before any purchases. Warranty policy is effective as of 1st July 2020. Updated as of 26th November 2021

 

APPLICATION OF WARRANTY:

Local warranty covered by Forno Gourmet is extended on the Ovens purchased in Singapore. Warranty policy is not applied on issues arising from out-of-box usage for the 1st 7 days after delivery (inclusive of day of delivery). Coverage of issues occuring within 7 days of delivery is covered in sections below. 

DURATION OF WARRANTY:

1 year starting from the day of delivery - for eg. delivery on 1st Jan 2022, warranty coverage till 31st Dec 2022.

 

WARRANTY COVERAGE:

For Consumer Customers:

  • 1 Year Warranty covers Parts & Labour only.

  • DOES NOT COVER : 

    •  Refractory Oven Floor Tiles / Saputo Pizza Stone.

    •  TRANSPORTATION COSTS : For request of  non-same day onsite inspection, subject to our availability, a Transport Fee of $70 will be applicable. For request of same day onsite inspection, subject to our availability, an Urgent Transport fee of $200 will be applicable.

    • If error cannot be resolved on-site, there will be NO additional transport fees for subsequent follow-up to repair / install spare parts on the same exact issue, unless it is a recurrence of the same issue after 30 days.

    • Customers can choose to drop off the oven at Forno Gourmet premises to avoid the transport fee.

    • For drop-off cases, Forno Gourmet will contact the customer on issue and time required to repair upon diagnosis. Repair will usually take 5 to 7 working days. Customer will be informed once the oven is ready for pickup.

  • Warranty is voided in the event of modification to the oven, including but not limited to change of electrical plug, change of thermostat, change of gas nozzles, modification to oven gas burners, usage of incorrect gas regulators other than those advised as acceptable by Forno Gourmet etc.

For Commercial Customers (Restaurants, Pizza Parlours, Pizza Pop-Ups, Private Diners):

  • 1 Year Warranty covers Labour only.

  • DOES NOT COVER

    • Wear & tear components including but not limited to: Effeuno Oven Bulbs, thermostats, safety thermostats, Effeuno Ceramic Gasket,  Gaskets, refractory oven floor / Saputo Pizza Stone.

COVERAGE OF ISSUES ARISING WITHIN 7 DAYS OF DELIVERY:

  • Within 7 days of oven delivery, if informed of any issues experienced by the client, such issue is not considered "issues within the warranty period".

  • As the oven is assumed to be brand new, Forno Gourmet will work closely with the client to resolve the issues experienced - whether it be a 1-1 exchange or on-site repair of the faulty parts at a mutually convenient time.

  • There will be NO transport fees or charges required for such cases.

  • The 1 year warranty duration for such items only begin once the error is considered to be fully resolved by Forno Gourmet. 

 

CONSUMER & COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS WHO PURCHASED OVENS BEFORE 26TH NOVEMBER 2021.

  • All changes to our warranty policies are effective immediately, including changes to our warranty coverage.

  • For customers impacted by the changes, on a goodwill basis, Forno Gourmet will provide a 1-time complimentary onsite inspection and repair for each oven purchased.

  • However, non-coverage of wear and tear components as listed in the Warranty Coverage section above will apply with immediate effect.
